Today is a happy day!
Currently I'm addicted to a Korean drama called ai ni qian wan chi.. only slept at 2am last night & woke up at 8am to continue. Hee.. Watched till 3pm, came online to arrange timing to chat with my sis tonight before going out with Chris for dinner cum shopping.
Highlight for the night: Cupcakes at Dessert Factory
Had an early dinner because I only ate cup noodles for lunch. Got to eat e bugis duck rice which I've been craving for since yesterday. :)
Went shopping at bugis street & bought a dress! Yeah! I got new dress for work! I'm actually quite troubled with what to wear for work because my colleagues dress up everyday! So far, for the past 2 weeks I've not seen them repeat their dress/attire. I cannot lose out & repeat mine right? 1 of them even put on make up & bluff her nails in office! OMG!!!! They are all acting like tai tai lah.. but I believe some of them are lah.. judging by the bags they carry & the cars they drive & they've already worked in Hp for 10+ years!
Oppz.. I digress from the topic. So it was a good shopping trip because Dear managed to buy his bag for work as well because his previous briefcase spoil already.
So we were heading to take bus 197 home to webcam with my sis when a Cupcake mascot approached us. I was like ignoring & telling Dear not to take the coupon. Luckily Dear took & we got a good deal to try out their cupcakes because it's their opening special! 1 Cupcake + 1 Drink for $2!!!
We were e 1st customers for the night & their service & decorations were pretty good & cozy. Here's their specialty drink, ice milk tea with chocolate syrup.
More photos on their layout. I like the pots of flowers on the window ledge. *sweet* The eat me fridge stores the cakes & cupcakes. I bought a chocolate cheesecake home but has yet to try it so dunno whether it's nice. The cupcakes are nice though.. I wanna learn how to make cupcakes!!!
Here's the extremely nice cupcake, chocolate banana! *yummy* I like the hot lava on top!
We also ordered a strawberry baileys cupcake which I don't really fancy but not bad too. It has a sweet heart in the center.
Here's my hot white choco mocha with marshmallows! I love the marshmallows! It's very small & soft but not soggy. The service was great too because I told the sales girl I wanted something light so the white chocolate was not too thick. Guess that makes the drink nicer to go with the sweet cupcakes!

3rd Day of Work @ Hp today!!!
Nice day at work with a new mentor, attended a super chim course on logics & circuits schematic diagram. I shouldn't have tagged along because the rest of my colleagues are already mid-way into that course. Feel so dumb!
Highlight for the day: Dinner with my Ex-Boss IVAN
Feels soooooo happy to meet my Ex-Boss for dinner! All the food items were pre-ordered by him & they were all delicious! Boss also kept helping me take food & it's so nice to just chat & eat!
I was so engrossed with eating, I only rem to take photo halfway thru the dinner. Mentor & Shiyun were late so there were some food left & Boss helped me re-arrange the food to take photos! Hee.. *nice*
1st dish was Thai Fishcake.. to dip with the peanut chilli sauce.
Next dish was Fried Fish with Thai Mango Salad! I really like the salad because it's very refreshing! Boss again helped to distribute the mango salad.. it looks untouched right?
3rd dish was Stuffed Chicken Wings. I dun really fancy this dish but it's also nice.
4th dish was Olive Fried Rice with Onions, Lime, Nuts & Chillies. I only mix with the lime & nuts. It's fried rice but it doesn't taste oily at all & there's also no olive smell/taste. Thumbs Up!
5th dish was Mixed Mushroom Dish. I like the veg & I love mushrooms! There's all kinds of mushroom in this dish & I like it! *yummy*
6th & 7th dish are soup dishes, Tom Yam Gong & Thai Green Chicken Curry. I learnt that there's 2 kinds of Tom Yam today, with & without Coconut Milk. The one we had was with Coconut milk. Although it looks like Laksa, it tastes like Tom Yam. I also learnt that Gong means Prawns & it's actually not Gong but pronounced like Gong. Lol.. Anw, they are superbly cooked to perfection too.
And we finished all the dishes!!! Cool right? Only 5 of us!
Lastly, ending off with a grp photo. Chin Wah (my night shift tech), Ivan (my ex-boss), Chee Kong (my mentor) & Shiyun (my best fren in TECH)!!! *hugz*
